Structural Modeling & Analysis provided laser scanning services for the King Louie Building renovation, currently in progress. The interior and exterior scans the are being used to convert this former bowling alley and ice skating rink into the new Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center. The renovated 79,000 ft2  center will house the Johnson County Museum, Theater in the Park productions, Park & Rec facilities.

 

The King Louie Building is located at 8788 Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park. It is tentatively scheduled to open in August 2016, with construction on the 350-seat theater, museum and classroom space continuing until April 2017. Learn more about the renovation: KCUR, KC Business Journal, KC Star
